Daniel Farke, Leeds United’s manager, has spoken highly of Elland Road star Crysencio Summerville.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the Whites manager praised the 22-year-old for his dedication on the training pitch.
Summerville has had an excellent season for Leeds, with 15 goals and eight assists in 29 Championship games.
The Dutchman also starred in the Whites’ FA Cup fourth-round match against Plymouth Argyle earlier this month, scoring one goal and providing one assist in a 4-1 extra-time victory.
Summerville’s heroics have put Leeds comfortably in contention for automatic promotion and a place in the FA Cup’s final 16.
Daniel Farke says’sky is the limit’ for Leeds United player Crysencio Summerville.
Farke is impressed with the young winger’s performance and believes he has the potential to rise to the pinnacle of his profession.
“His performances and end product, but also his willingness to work for the team, have been outstanding,” remarked the head coach of Leeds.
“To perform in this level, you have to be on the training pitch almost every day, which is exactly what he is doing.
“It’s no surprise that he’s contributed so many crucial goals and assists.
“We don’t need to talk about his potential since Cry believes the sky is the limit. However, consistency is really important.
It’s nice to watch Summerville improve and establish himself as an important player for Leeds.
There will undoubtedly be many more twists and turns in one of the most fiercely heated Championship automatic promotion battles in years.
However, with Leeds right there, it will be interesting to see how they do in the following months.
