carsales and Melbourne Storm have collaborated to publish their first two ads celebrating the collaboration, featuring “more” and “faster” as buzzwords that are expected to resonate with Storm fans during home games this season.

Two innovative variations, featuring Storm players Will Warbrick, Tyran Wishart, and Trent Loiero, have been created to interest buyers and sellers.

The ‘Buy’ ad highlights the range of automobiles accessible on carsales by playing on the word “more,” displaying Will’s desire for more boots and more alternatives, which aligns with carsales’ offering him more possibilities with over 200,000 cars.

The ‘Sell’ advertisement promotes carsales’ Instant Offer by showing Tyran performing dumbbell curls in the gym at twice the speed of other players, emphasizing how selling through carsales Instant Offer can be faster than anywhere else.

The advertising, created in cooperation with creative and production agency Two Tractors, will appear on the big screen at all 12 Melbourne Storm home games, as well as across a variety of digital and social channels aimed at NRL and Storm fans.

“As Australia’s #1 for cars, we were excited to work with Melbourne Storm to develop engaging ads that highlight our partnership, entertain Storm fans, and firmly position carsales as the ultimate place to research, buy, and sell cars,” said Rafael Constantinou, EGM – marketing, content, and customer.

“Melbourne Storm’s sporting dynamics, like as strategy, preparation, and performance, are equally critical to a successful business and culture. The sense of comedy seeps through these Storm players, capturing the enjoyment we all had while completing these advertisements,” Constantinou remarked.

“As always, our relationship with Carsales has been fantastic. And I’d want to thank our Two Tractors team. With the NRL season about to begin, we had a limited time frame for filming and wanted to get this done quickly,” said Rick Hargreaves, co-founder of Two Tractors.

“Our creative, production, and post teams seem to enjoy projects like this, so it was fantastic to see everyone rolling up their sleeves and getting it done. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and could not be happier to have such a solid connection with carsales.”
