Pittsburgh — The Louisville Cardinals will be missing a few key players when they face the Pitt Panthers at the Petersen Events Center this weekend.
Pitt, which is on the NCAA Tournament bubble and needs to keep winning to keep their postseason hopes alive, will have the advantage of facing the Cardinals without Skyy Clark and Ty-Laur Johnson, both of whom are injured, according to Eric Crawford of WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky.
Clark has started 22 of 23 games this season and ranks second on the team in scoring with 13.1 points per game. The Illinois transfer averages 2.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.
Johnson typically comes off the bench, but he has started seven games as well. He averages nine points per game and leads the team with 3.9 assists per contest.
Whew. Louisville without Skyy Clark (rib) Ty-Laur Johnson (concussion like symptoms) tonight at Pitt.

The Panthers were already heavy favorites heading into this game, but with the Cardinals missing two of their best playmakers, the home team’s task becomes a little easier.
