The Florida State Seminoles are finally back. After years of lackluster football in Tallahassee, it appears that the Seminoles have reclaimed their status as a premier football program. They’ve done so under the leadership of Mike Norvell, who recently completed his fourth season at Florida State.
Norvell is an amazing coach who has completely altered the program and turned things around. He’ll be the driving force behind the Seminoles’ return to perennial contention. If people aren’t ready to accept it, player testimonials may assist them start to believe in what’s going on in Tallahassee.
Braden Fiske, a former Seminole defensive tackle and 2024 NFL Draft possibility, is the latest player to compliment Florida State’s head coach.
“What Coach Norvell is doing there, you’ll be hearing about Florida State for a long time,” Fiske said on the PFF CFB Show.
What Fiske says merely reinforces what an outside observer can see, despite the fact that he has personally witnessed and experienced the program and its turnaround.
Norvell got things started in Tallahassee through the transfer portal, bringing in some of the best transfer prospects early on. He doubled down on that after his first ten-win season at Florida State, which resulted in a 13-win season and the ACC Championship.
Norvell has returned the Seminoles to competitive football while also achieving recruiting success. His ability to succeed in the transfer portal and get great high school prospects while assembling a strong on-field product gives cause to assume Norvell will keep Florida State relevant as long as he is the program’s head coach.
With college football’s quick evolution and an extended playoff field, the Seminoles might become a perennial playoff club, continuously in contention for a National Championship.
