On Wednesday, 247 Sports updated its player rankings for the 2025 recruiting class. The rankings included 16 players regarded as five-star prospects, three of whom have committed to Ohio State.
Devin Sanchez is the class’s top-ranked defensive player and third-ranked player overall. The standout cornerback attends North Shore High School in Texas and committed to the Buckeyes in January.
A month later, the Buckeyes received a pledge from Na’eem Offord, another extremely good cornerback. He is the fifth-ranked player in the most recent 247Sports rankings.
Tavien St. Clair joins the ranks of 247Sports’ five-star recruits. The quarterback from Bellefontaine High School in Ohio has been committed to the Buckeyes since June.
“St. Clair continues to charge up our board,” 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins stated. “If you compare the final game of his sophomore season to the final game of his junior season, he appears to be a completely different quarterback, with much more command. St. Clair’s commanding presence and systematic technique continue to impress us. He set school passing records at Bellefontaine (Ohio) with 3,083 yards and 37 touchdowns.
