Nick Seeler has signed a four-year contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers worth $2.7 million.
According to reports, GM Danny Briere is likely to extend either Sean Walker or Seeler. That result, now known as Walker, was traded to the Colorado Avalanche earlier today.
Seeler has been an excellent defenseman for the Flyers, and he will now remain with the Orange and Black for the next four years at a modest cap hit.
The Flyers have been busy just two days before the deadline, but Briere may not be done yet. He could look for an inexpensive forward or goaltender to reward his team’s performance this season.
