And on Thursday afternoon, he achieved exactly that, running a 5.27 on his first try. He refused to run a second time.

Sweat also tested in other parameters on Thursday, recording a 26-inch vertical and an 8′ 2″ broad jump.

Longhorns standout Byron Murphy also tested, running a 4.90 40-yard sprint (1.69 10-yard split) on his first attempt, hitting a 33-inch vertical and a 9′ 3″ broad jump. Murphy’s second 40 timed in at 4.8 (1.70 10-yard split).

FEB 27, CUNNINGHAM HOOKS EM Following his dismissal against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Longhorns forward Brock Cunningham mocked the fans with hook’em horns.

Texas Tech fans were upset when they threw debris onto the court.

Following the game, Tech coach Grant McCasland addressed the supporters on the arena microphone, urging them to stop.

“Everyone listens. Hello, right here. “Everyone listen,” McCasland stated. “Everything thrown on the court will result in a technical foul. Listen to me. It has to stop. It has to stop. There’s nothing else on the floor. “Am I clear?”
