Florida Football has been offering a lot of prospects lately, and this week they went to Atlanta to offer a top 250 wide receiver.
And, based on film, he checks a lot of the boxes the Gators are looking for.
Florida Football: A Town
Travis Smith is listed as 6’4″ and 191 pounds. Smith, who attends Westlake High in Atlanta, is a consensus four-star prospect, ranked 73rd by On3 and 261st by ESPN.
Smith has received offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, and Tennessee. On3 has Georgia as the favorite, while 247 has yet to make a prediction.
Based on film, the rating in the 200s appears to be accurate, implying that we may be in for a waiting game with some teams looking at the elite prospects of the 2025 class.
Smith is the type of big-bodied receiver Billy Gonzales typically targets, so we could see some traction with Florida in the coming weeks, though it’s worth noting that Florida offered Smith earlier this week, only after he announced his top eight schools last week.
