ST PAUL, Minnesota — When the Minnesota Wild face the Vancouver Canucks on Monday afternoon, they will be supporting a very timely cause.
Over the weekend, two police officers and a firefighter were shot and murdered while responding to a domestic call in Burnsville.
A portion of the proceeds from Monday’s game will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF).
Tickets start at $36, with $5 going to NLEOMF and the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association. The game begins at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
